These Free Trial Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LeadChase platform during your free trial. By clicking "Agree and start my free trial" (or equivalent) at signup, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the platform.
These Terms incorporate by reference the LeadChase Privacy Policy available at leadchase.co/privacy.

2. Acceptance, Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:
- (a) you are 18 or over at all times during use of the Platform and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement, either personally or on behalf of the business entity you represent;
- (b) you are using the Platform for legitimate business purposes connected to recruitment activities; and
- (c) the information you provide at signup is accurate and complete.
In addition, you agree that:
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
- One account per user. You may not share accounts between individuals.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Contracting Entity
The Platform is provided by LeadChase Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17225822), registered office 29 Primrose Avenue, Downham Market, PE38 9GF. For the period prior to its incorporation on 18 May 2026, the contracting party providing the Platform was Jordan Edner, trading as LeadChase, as a sole trader, and you acknowledge that you contracted with Jordan Edner personally for that period pursuant to section 51 of the Companies Act 2006. On incorporation of LeadChase Ltd on 18 May 2026, this agreement was novated to LeadChase Ltd, which assumed all of Jordan Edner's rights and obligations under it. Your continued use of the Platform and/or your re-acceptance of these Terms constitutes your agreement to that novation and to these updated Terms.
4. Free Trial Scope
The Free Trial provides access to the full LeadChase Service for the Trial Period, subject only to the Usage Allowance defined in clause 8.
5. Duration and What Happens at the End
On the Account Creation Date, your account is created in a pending state and you will be contacted to schedule your onboarding call. The Workflow Features remain disabled until your onboarding call takes place.
The Free Trial begins on the Trial Start Date — the date your account is activated by LeadChase during your onboarding call — and continues until the earlier of:
- (a) fourteen (14) days from the Trial Start Date; or
- (b) the point at which your 1,000 Credit allowance is fully used.
If your account has not been activated within fourteen (14) days of the Account Creation Date, your account will be cancelled and your card details removed from our payment processor. You may sign up again at any time.
The Free Trial does not auto-renew. Your card will not be charged at the end of the Free Trial.
At the end of the Free Trial, your account will enter a read-only Post-Trial Access Period of thirty (30) days. During the Post-Trial Access Period, you will be able to log in and view your data, but the Workflow Features will be disabled. To re-enable the Workflow Features and continue active use of the Platform, you must upgrade to a paid subscription.
At the end of the Post-Trial Access Period, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted, unless you have upgraded to a paid subscription before that date. LeadChase will send you a reminder email at least seven (7) days before deletion. If you wish to retain a copy of your data, you must export it before the deletion date.
6. Cost
The Free Trial is provided entirely free of charge. No fees are payable for use of the Platform during the Free Trial. Payment card details are collected at signup for verification purposes only and to facilitate any future paid subscription you choose to enter into. No charge will be made to your card during or at the end of the Free Trial.
7. Payment Card Details
To begin your Free Trial, you must provide valid payment card details. By providing these details, you authorise LeadChase to verify the card via a nominal authorisation hold, which will not be charged.
Your card will not be charged at any point during the Free Trial, and your account will not automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the Free Trial. If you wish to upgrade to a paid subscription, you must actively do so via the Platform.
Your card details will be retained securely by our payment processor, Stripe, to facilitate any future paid subscription you choose to enter into. You may request deletion of your card details at any time by contacting us at the address set out in clause 18.
8. Usage Allowance
You are allocated a one-time usage allowance of 1,000 Credits for the duration of the Free Trial. This allowance does not reset or renew. When 100% of the allowance is reached, an automated notification will be issued and a hard stop applied. To continue active use of the Platform, you must upgrade to a paid subscription. Paid plans are charged at LeadChase's prevailing rates, payable in advance, and will be documented in a separate commercial agreement.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable laws or regulations, including the UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, and the Data Protection Act 2018;
- (b) use the Platform to send spam, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful communications;
- (c) misrepresent yourself, your agency, or your candidates;
- (d) attempt to interfere with, disable, or circumvent any platform tracking, monitoring, or integration functionality;
- (e) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, copy, replicate, or otherwise derive the source code or underlying logic of the Platform;
- (f) resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Platform; or
- (g) use the Platform in any manner that interferes with or disrupts its operation or the experience of other users;
- (h) export, redistribute, resell, or otherwise make available to third parties any data, insights, suggestions, or derived information obtained from the Platform, except your own primary content (the CVs, messages, and contacts you put into the Platform);
- (i) use the Platform or any data obtained from it to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model or competing service; or
- (j) attempt to enumerate, reconstruct, reverse-engineer, or infer the internal logic, methodologies, or data sources used to generate the Platform's suggestions, rankings, or insights.
10. No Guarantee of Outcome
LeadChase does not guarantee any specific business outcome, placement volume, response rate, or commercial result from your use of the Platform during the Free Trial. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
11. Termination
You may terminate your Free Trial or your Post-Trial Access at any time by notifying LeadChase in writing at the contact address set out in clause 18, or by deleting your account via the Platform.
LeadChase may terminate your Free Trial or Post-Trial Access immediately on written notice if you:
- (a) commit a material breach of these Terms and fail to remedy it within five (5) business days of written notice;
- (b) use the Platform in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, or contrary to clause 9; or
- (c) attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate any aspect of the Platform.
On termination for any reason, your access to the Platform will cease immediately and your card details will be removed from our payment processor. Clauses that by their nature are intended to survive termination — including clauses 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17 — will continue in effect.
12. Conversion to Paid Plan
At any point during or after the Free Trial, you may upgrade to a paid subscription via the Platform or by entering into a separate commercial agreement with LeadChase. Use of the Free Trial confers no right to continued use of the Workflow Features after the Free Trial ends, and no entitlement to preferential commercial terms.
13. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all associated intellectual property — including software, prompts, designs, trademarks, content, ranking and prioritisation methodologies, derived scores, signal classifications, and the structure and selection of data within the Shared Contact Directory — remain the exclusive property of LeadChase. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform during the Free Trial for your internal business purposes only. No other rights are granted.
You retain ownership of any data you input into the Platform.
14. Data Protection
You are the data controller for all candidate and client personal data entered into the Platform. LeadChase processes such data as a data processor in accordance with its Privacy Policy and these Terms. Both parties shall comply with their obligations under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
When you upload candidate CVs to the Platform, raw CV content is processed in memory only and is not retained. Anonymised (redacted) versions of CVs are retained within your account for use in the Platform's outreach features. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary consent or lawful basis to process candidate data and to use it for outreach purposes under UK GDPR.
The Platform also processes personal data about third parties (for example contacts at companies you target for outreach). LeadChase maintains a Shared Contact Directory and generates suggestions and insights derived for you from your own data combined with the publicly-available information in that directory. For the Shared Contact Directory, LeadChase and our customers act as joint controllers under UK GDPR Article 26; for all other personal data, LeadChase remains a processor acting on your instructions. The LeadChase Privacy Policy contains the full disclosure on the Shared Contact Directory, the derived insights, and the rights available to data subjects, including the public opt-out page at leadchase.co/data-rights.
Payment card details are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, as a sub-processor. Further detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadChase Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, or data, arising from or in connection with your use of the Free Trial.
LeadChase's total aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed £50.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
- (a) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- (b) death or personal injury caused by negligence; or
- (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
16. Amendments
We may update this agreement from time to time. For material changes (price changes, intellectual-property clauses, governing law, addition of a sub-processor for a new category of data, any change to the scope of the Shared Contact Directory, or any change to the contracting entity), we will give you at least fourteen (14) days' notice by email before the change takes effect. For minor changes (typographical corrections, swaps of sub-processors within the same category, or clarifications), the change takes effect immediately with the "Last updated" date bumped. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Contact
For any notices, queries, card deletion requests, or termination requests under these Terms, contact:
LeadChase Ltd (company number 17225822)
Email: jordan@leadchase.co
Address: 29 Primrose Avenue, Downham Market, PE38 9GF
19. Browser Extension
If you install the LeadChase Companion browser extension during the Free Trial, you acknowledge that LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits browser extensions that read data from its site, and you accept that operational risk on your own LinkedIn account. The extension reads only the public-facing profile data you can already see on LinkedIn pages you visit while signed in; it never auto-acts on the page, sends LinkedIn cookies to our servers, or calls LinkedIn's private APIs. We may modify, throttle, or disable the extension's functionality at any time, including to comply with LinkedIn's enforcement actions or platform changes. Data processed by the extension is handled in accordance with the LeadChase Privacy Policy.
In addition to the above, the extension lets you:
- Pick a saved (anonymised) CV from your LeadChase account to attach to outreach you initiate via the extension.
- Add or remove a company from your watch list.
- Display introduction suggestions and market signals in the side panel, drawn from data already in your LeadChase account.
20. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for use by recruitment professionals and is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we may hold data relating to a minor, contact jordan@leadchase.co and we will delete it.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the LeadChase Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LeadChase in respect of the Free Trial and supersede all prior representations, discussions, and agreements relating to the same subject matter.
