These Free Account Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LeadChase platform on a Free Plan. By clicking "Start for free" (or equivalent) at signup, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the platform.
These Terms incorporate by reference the LeadChase Privacy Policy available at leadchase.co/privacy.

- "You" or "your" means the individual or business entity accepting these Terms and using the Free Plan.
- "Platform" means the LeadChase web application and associated services made available to you on the Free Plan.

- "LeadChase Community Network" (formerly the "Shared Contact Directory") means the community data network described in the LeadChase Privacy Policy, to which customers contribute professional business-card information and professional relationship links.
2. Acceptance, Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:
- (a) you are 18 or over at all times during use of the Platform and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement, either personally or on behalf of the business entity you represent;
- (b) you are using the Platform for legitimate business purposes connected to recruitment activities; and
- (c) the information you provide at signup is accurate and complete.
In addition, you agree that:
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
- One account per user. You may not share accounts between individuals.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Contracting Entity
The Platform is provided by LeadChase Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17225822), registered office 29 Primrose Avenue, Downham Market, PE38 9GF. For the period prior to its incorporation on 18 May 2026, the contracting party providing the Platform was Jordan Edner, trading as LeadChase, as a sole trader, and you acknowledge that you contracted with Jordan Edner personally for that period pursuant to section 51 of the Companies Act 2006. On incorporation of LeadChase Ltd on 18 May 2026, this agreement was novated to LeadChase Ltd, which assumed all of Jordan Edner's rights and obligations under it. Your continued use of the Platform and/or your re-acceptance of these Terms constitutes your agreement to that novation and to these updated Terms.
4. Free Plan Scope
The Free Plan provides access to the Platform's Relationship Intelligence Features and Market Signal Features within the following allowances and caps:
- (a) an allocation of insight Credits per Monthly Refill Period;
- (b) no allocation of outreach Credits (Workflow Features are gated on the Free Plan — see clause 8);
- (c) a maximum number of tracked contacts; and
- (d) a maximum number of watched companies.
Current allowances and caps are displayed in the LeadChase app and may be updated by us in accordance with clause 15.
5. Duration and Ongoing Access
The Free Plan has no fixed expiry. Your account remains active indefinitely while you continue to access it. No payment card is required to sign up for or maintain a Free Plan account.
Your insight-credit allowance refills on a recurring Monthly Refill Period. Unused Credits do not carry over to the next period.
If we change our policy on inactive Free Plan accounts in a way that would lead to termination or deletion, we will give you at least thirty (30) days' advance notice by email before the change takes effect.
6. Insight Credit Pool and Unlocks
Certain insights and introduction suggestions surfaced by the Platform are unlocked individually using Credits from your monthly allowance. Per-unlock costs are displayed in the LeadChase app at the point of unlock.
When your insight-credit balance reaches zero, further unlock actions are paused until the start of your next Monthly Refill Period.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable laws or regulations, including the UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, and the Data Protection Act 2018;
- (b) use the Platform to send spam, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful communications;
- (c) misrepresent yourself, your agency, or your candidates;
- (d) attempt to interfere with, disable, or circumvent any platform tracking, monitoring, or integration functionality;
- (e) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, copy, replicate, or otherwise derive the source code or underlying logic of the Platform;
- (f) resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Platform;
- (g) use the Platform in any manner that interferes with or disrupts its operation or the experience of other users;
- (h) export, redistribute, resell, or otherwise make available to third parties any data, insights, suggestions, or derived information obtained from the Platform, except your own primary content (the CVs, messages, and contacts you put into the Platform);
- (i) use the Platform or any data obtained from it to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model or competing service; or
- (j) attempt to enumerate, reconstruct, reverse-engineer, or infer the internal logic, methodologies, or data sources used to generate the Platform's suggestions, rankings, or insights.
8. Workflow Features Gated on the Free Plan
The Free Plan does not include an allocation of outreach Credits. Accordingly, the Workflow Features (including AI-powered message generation, campaign execution, and email sending) are not available on the Free Plan. To enable the Workflow Features, you must upgrade to a Subscription Plan as described in clause 9.
9. Upgrading to a Subscription Plan
You may upgrade to a Subscription Plan (Starter, Plus, or Pro) at any time from within the LeadChase app. Subscription Plans are billed monthly in advance via our third-party payment processor at the prevailing rates listed in the LeadChase app.
Subscription Plans auto-renew on the monthly anniversary of the first payment until you cancel from Settings → Billing or by emailing the contact in clause 17. On cancellation, your subscription continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free Plan.
Once you upgrade to a Subscription Plan, you become entitled to the 30-day money-back guarantee described in clause 9b of our Terms of Service. The guarantee does not apply to use of the Free Plan, as no payment is taken.
10. No Guarantee of Outcome
LeadChase does not guarantee any specific business outcome, placement volume, response rate, or commercial result from your use of the Platform. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
11. Termination
You may terminate your Free Plan account at any time by notifying LeadChase in writing at the contact address set out in clause 17, or by deleting your account via the Platform.
LeadChase may terminate your Free Plan account immediately on written notice if you:
- (a) commit a material breach of these Terms and fail to remedy it within five (5) business days of written notice;
- (b) use the Platform in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, or contrary to clause 7; or
- (c) attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate any aspect of the Platform.
On termination for any reason, your access to the Platform will cease immediately. Clauses that by their nature are intended to survive termination — including clauses 12, 13, 14, and 16 — will continue in effect.
12. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all associated intellectual property — including software, prompts, designs, trademarks, content, ranking and prioritisation methodologies, derived scores, signal classifications, and the structure and selection of data within the Shared Contact Directory — remain the exclusive property of LeadChase. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform on the Free Plan for your internal business purposes only. No other rights are granted.
You retain ownership of any data you input into the Platform.
13. Data Protection
You are the data controller for all candidate and client personal data entered into the Platform. LeadChase processes such data as a data processor in accordance with its Privacy Policy and these Terms. Both parties shall comply with their obligations under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Platform also processes personal data about third parties (for example contacts at companies you target for outreach). LeadChase maintains the LeadChase Community Network and generates suggestions and insights derived for you from your own data combined with the publicly-available information in that directory. For the LeadChase Community Network, LeadChase and our customers act as joint controllers under UK GDPR Article 26; for all other personal data, LeadChase remains a processor acting on your instructions. The LeadChase Privacy Policy contains the full disclosure on the LeadChase Community Network, the derived insights, and the rights available to data subjects, including the public opt-out page at leadchase.co/data-rights.
Information you provide to the Platform about your professional contacts may be used to generate suggestions for users on the same agency account, and may inform suggestions surfaced to other LeadChase customers on a basis that does not identify you or your agency. No private outreach content is shared in this way. You can request the removal of any specific contact at any time via the data-rights opt-out above; removal takes effect across all suggestions generated by the Platform.
Free accounts participate in the LeadChase Community Network (described in the Privacy Policy) as a condition of free access: you contribute professional business-card information and professional relationship links, and in return access warm-introduction paths and verified business emails from the community. Free accounts cannot opt out of contributing; individuals may remove their own record via the data-rights process.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadChase Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, or data, arising from or in connection with your use of the Free Plan.
LeadChase's total aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed £50.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
- (a) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- (b) death or personal injury caused by negligence; or
- (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
15. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes (changes to the tier structure, intellectual-property clauses, governing law, addition of a sub-processor for a new category of data, any change to the scope of the Shared Contact Directory, any change to the contracting entity, or any change to our inactivity policy that would lead to termination or deletion of inactive accounts), we will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email before the change takes effect. For minor changes (typographical corrections, swaps of sub-processors within the same category, or clarifications), the change takes effect immediately with the "Last updated" date bumped. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. Contact
For any notices, queries, or termination requests under these Terms, contact:
LeadChase Ltd (company number 17225822)
Email: jordan@leadchase.co
Address: 29 Primrose Avenue, Downham Market, PE38 9GF
18. Browser Extension
If you install the LeadChase Companion browser extension, you acknowledge that LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits browser extensions that read data from its site, and you accept that operational risk on your own LinkedIn account. The extension reads only the public-facing profile data you can already see on LinkedIn pages you visit while signed in; it never auto-acts on the page, sends LinkedIn cookies to our servers, or calls LinkedIn's private APIs. We may modify, throttle, or disable the extension's functionality at any time, including to comply with LinkedIn's enforcement actions or platform changes. Data processed by the extension is handled in accordance with the LeadChase Privacy Policy.
In addition to the above, the extension lets you:
- Pick a saved (anonymised) CV from your LeadChase account to attach to outreach you initiate via the extension.
- Add or remove a company from your watch list.
- Display introduction suggestions and market signals in the side panel, drawn from data already in your LeadChase account.
19. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for use by recruitment professionals and is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we may hold data relating to a minor, contact jordan@leadchase.co and we will delete it.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the LeadChase Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LeadChase in respect of the Free Plan and supersede all prior representations, discussions, and agreements relating to the same subject matter.
